1099-B — Proceeds From Broker and Barter Exchange Transactions
For taxpayers with investment sales reported on a 1099-B, including stocks, bonds, and other securities with associated gains or losses.
This add-on applies when you received one or more Forms 1099-B or a consolidated brokerage tax statement. Upload the complete statement, including every transaction page and any corrected forms.
The proceeds reported on Form 1099-B are not automatically the amount of taxable gain. Gain or loss generally depends on the sales proceeds, cost or other basis, holding period, and applicable adjustments. You may need to provide purchase records when the broker does not report your basis or when the reported information is incorrect.
This is a form-based add-on charged in addition to your selected tax preparation base service fee. The displayed price reflects the service tier selected during purchase. This add-on is not a stand-alone tax preparation service.
High transaction volume, missing basis information, wash sales, options, futures, barter transactions, or other specialized investments may require additional forms, calculations, or services. London’s Tax will explain any revised scope and fee before proceeding.
This is a digitally delivered professional service. No physical product will be shipped. Your broker or barter transactions will be reviewed and reported as part of your primary tax preparation service.
Either party may cancel the engagement in writing. Fees for work already performed and any approved costs remain due.
