1099-S — Proceeds From Real Estate Transactions
For taxpayers with real estate transactions reported on a 1099-S, including the sale or exchange of property.
This add-on applies when you sold or exchanged a home, land, rental property, or another real-estate interest and received Form 1099-S.
Upload every Form 1099-S received, along with the closing statement, original purchase information, records of improvements, selling expenses, and other requested property documents. The gross proceeds reported on Form 1099-S are not automatically the amount of taxable gain. A transaction may still require reporting even when some or all of the gain qualifies for an exclusion.
This is a form-based add-on charged in addition to your selected tax preparation base service fee. The displayed price reflects the service tier selected during purchase. This add-on is not a stand-alone tax preparation service.
Additional properties, missing basis records, rental or business use, installment sales, like-kind exchanges, depreciation, or other complex circumstances may require additional forms or services. London’s Tax will explain any revised scope and fee before proceeding.
This is a digitally delivered professional service. No physical product will be shipped. Your real-estate transaction will be reviewed and, when required, reported as part of your primary tax preparation service.
Either party may cancel the engagement in writing. Fees for work already performed and any approved costs remain due.
